FIELD: measuring equipment. SUBSTANCE: viscosimeter has housing wherein parallel calibrated tanks for reference oil and oil to be tested are received. The conical rotatable plug is positioned at the bottom part of the housing. The plug is mounted for permitting connection of the parallel tanks with the drain tanks through calibrated orifices. The calibrated orifices has at least one counterbore. The sizes of the counterbore are chosen to provide the same length of the calibrated orifices. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy. 1 dwg
