FIELD: agriculture, particularly, agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: this device incorporates hermetically sealed chamber 1 communicating with gas generator 2 and housing drum 3 around which is wound perforated flexible sleeve 4 whose second end portion is turned inside out and secured in positioned inside pipe 5 housed in chamber 1. Warm air or gas admitted into chamber 1 makes sleeve 4 turn inside out and move into protection zone and is discharged via perforations in sleeve 4 to protect plants against adverse effect of below-zero temperatures. EFFECT: metal saving owing to simpler design of device employed for feeding warm air into protection zone plus greater convenience of maintenance due to compactness of disclosed device that can be moved to any desired distance. 1 dwg
