FIELD: pneumatic barrel units. SUBSTANCE: method is based upon creating excess pressure of working agent and acceleration of the tool inside tubular guide. Tool is accelerated by means of rolling over the tool inside tubular elastic guide; some part of guide is turned out and fastened at the position before excess pressure is created. Device has tubular guide 7 which communicates with gas generator 2 through pressure-tight chamber 1. Device is provided with drive drum 3 which has a rest disposed inside chamber 1. Tubular guide 7 is made in form of elastic sleeve which has one end attached to ring 6 and connected with rope 4 wound onto drum 3. The other end is turned out and fastened inside chamber 1. Tools are made in form of a torus 8 filled with explosive and mounted inside sleeve 7. EFFECT: widened functional capabilities due to change in range. 2 cl, 1 dwg
