FIELD: oil industry. SUBSTANCE: the housing of gas separator is placed horizontally and connected to the gas- and-liquid outlet branch pipe via a branch pipe located in the lower part of the housing for taking liquid and that located in its upper part for taking gas. The gas-and-liquid outlet branch pipe is located in such a manner that its upper generatrix should not be not lower than the upper generatrix of the gas separator housing. The system of bubbling pipes is located in a horizontal plane of the housing crossing the lower side of a square theoretically inscribed into the cross section of the housing of gas separator.
