METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF MINERAL FIBERS Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2035409 C1

FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: mineral feedstock spindles are slipped from opposite directions on plasma filament. The edges of spindles are fused under the effect of low-temperature plasma. Later on, the fibers delivered on the conveyor of the fiber-deposition chamber are produced by spraying the formed melt. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
