FIELD: production of adhesive compositions. SUBSTANCE: heat-proof adhesive composition of cold hardening contains polyethercarbonrane-adipate with boron content of 30- 35% and hydroxyl groups of 1-2% l mas.p.; oligoethercarborane-sebacateglycide with boron content of 14-16% and hydroxy groups not in excess of 5% 0.7-1.5 mas.p.; polyisocyanate B based on diphenylmethane diisocyanate 2-4 mas.p.; filler 2-10 mas.p.; organic solvent 0.8-1.0 mas.p. Adhesive composition may additionally contain 1-2 mas.p. of butadiene nitrile rubber with carboxy groups of 2.6-3.2%. Polyethercarborane-adipate is dissolved in acetone, and added to solution are oligoethercarboranglycide, polyisocyanate and filler. Adhesive is applied to prepared surface (shotblasted, cleaned with emery cloth and degreased) by means of spatula. Cementing is carried out at 15-30 C and pressure of 1.5-3 kgf/sq.cm for 5 days or at 60 C for 4 h. Adhesive characteristics: shear strength of steel adhesive joints at 20 C 270 kgf/sq.cm; at 150 C 180 kgf/sq.cm; at 300 C 110 kgf/sq. cm; at 400 C 55 kgf/cq.cm; after ageing at 350 C for 100 h shear strength at 20 C 95 kgf/sq.cm; for shear strength after ageing at other temperatures, refer to invention description.
