FIELD: medicine industry. SUBSTANCE: bioreactor has a hollow agitator. A water-cooled light source is received in the agitator hollow. The lower base of the light source rests on a turned over blind sleeve. On filling the reactor with a suspension the base is brought into air lock. As the agitator rotates, the suspension rises over the reactor wall under the effect of centrifugal forces so that a vortex funnel is formed around the light source. Water steam is condensed on the surface of the light source precluding its overgrowing with microorganisms. The bioreactor insures against mechanical deterioration of cultural cells. Besides in the bioreactor achieved are an adequate gas exchange and the best use of the light source flux. EFFECT: intensified process of growing microorganisms. 1 dwg
