FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is a laboratory multi-platform gas vortex bioreactor for suspension cultivation of tissue cells or microorganisms. The bioreactor comprises a container with a cover, branch pipes, a medium aeration and mixing apparatus including a horizontal paddle wheel and an annular floating partition, a mechanism for stabilising the position of the annular floating partition relative to the surface of the cellular suspension, a removable optically transparent hollow cylindrical socket for accommodating a light source and/or a unit for video recording, measuring and monitoring the technological process of cultivation. The stabilisation mechanism is equipped with an axle, wherein the axle is installed coaxially to the horizontal paddle wheel, configured to be attached to the end wall of the cylindrical socket, and the medium aeration and mixing apparatus is equipped with an annular floating element located in the gap between the cylindrical wall of the container and the annular floating partition. The bioreactor therein comprises radially arranged removable blades attached to the body of the annular floating element and/or needle-shaped elements for surface bubbling of the liquid nutrient medium, made evenly on the upper end surface of the annular floating element.
EFFECT: invention ensures creation of a universal bioreactor providing a possibility of cultivating microorganisms, plant and animal cellular cultures, as well as microalgae in laboratory conditions.
