FIELD: oil collecting engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has revolving oil collecting brush disks and combing member separating oil from brush disks. Brush members are designed for pressing out oil under water surface and raising it through lower fixed center in such a way that adhesion of water to brushes is reduced. Bristles of brush disks are secured to rim provided over external periphery of disks. Device for collecing oil has box divided into adjacent compartments; right-hand compartment has brush disks mounted on transverse shaft over entire width of the compartment; device has holes formed in its front portion for admitting oil-containing water in counter-action with brush disks and holes provided on inner side of brush disk rim which are used for draining water from the first compartment. Combing member is provided with chute for feeding the accumulated oil to second compartment. Pump fitted in device is used for discharging accumulated oil from second compartment. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 5 cl, 5 dwg
