SUBSTANCE: method for production of felt from mineral fiber includes transportation of felt through transportation device with varying speed by bringing felt into contact with, at least, two members located successively in direction of its transportation. Area of influence of members overlap each other. Device for embodiment of the offered method has two conveyers located opposite to each other, between which felt is transported. Each conveyer has, at least, two shafts which are made with a number of means which bring them into contact with upper and lower surfaces of felt. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 15 cl, 10 dwg
