FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: engine has additional cylinder head and hydraulic cylinder 13 mounted in the cylinder bank. All of the cylinders of the bank have central axial grooves 11 which provide piston stroke. Rod 14, which separates the cylinder into semi-cylinders 1-8 and hydraulic cylinder into semi-cylinders 9 and 10, passes through the grooves. Rod 14 is coupled with crankshaft 19 through connecting rods 20. The shaft is mounted on one of the head of the cylinder.
