PLOW SHARE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: plow share has cutting part with teeth. One of tooth edges is made concave and tilted at acute angle relative to direction of pull. Tooth concave edges, when coming out onto plow share working surface, get widened. At the rear, tooth concave edges are cut by plane which forms arched ports. Made on front surface of share in space limited by cavities are drop-shaped projections whose conical part is pointed towards cutting edge. EFFECT: increased service life of share, reduced resistance; provision of bursting up of soil in furrow bottom by partially replacing soil cutting by soil chipping. 4 dwg
