FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves lavage of a purulent cavity after its filling with an aseptic solution until pain feeling appears or arterial pressure or heart beat rate changes. Lavage liquid is supplied and discharged at a speed of up to 100 ml per minute during 2.5-3 hours each 8 hours until the pathologic process ceases. EFFECT: accelerated treatment course, reduced risk of changed hemodynamic profile.
