FIELD: veterinary medicine; veterinary virusology. SUBSTANCE: vaccine has 50-55 g of peptone, 22.37-27 g of disubstituted sodium phosphate, 45-55 g of lactose, 1.74- 2 g of monosubstituted potassium phosphate, 3.65-5.00 g of trilone B, 0.3-0.5 g of twin-80 and virus-containing material of La Sota strain virus of Newcastle disease having hemagglutination activity titre not lower than 2048-4096 hemagglutination units per ml, protein content higher than 3-5 mg/cm3 and infectiousness of 8.1-11.0 lg EID50 per 100-150 ml. The vaccine is administered to birds by using intranasal, enteral or aerosol application mode. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in preventing avian pneumoencephalitis. 1 tbl
