SUBSTANCE: method involves subjecting sludge to primary dehumidification; drying with heating in mixer with dried powder till molding humidity is obtained; obtaining powder by calcining a portion of sludge from mixer and returning this portion into the beginning stage of the process; uniting dried powder with sludge on feeder belt before mixer by dispensing dosed quantities of sludge onto powder so that sandwich-type layer is formed, with hot powder delivered directly from calcining device being used in this process; providing forced ventilation of sandwich layer of feeder belt. EFFECT: improved processability by combining sludge drying and conveyance process, reduced power consumption by recovery of heat of powder delivered onto conveyor belt under wet sludge layer. 4 cl
