FIELD: glass industry. SUBSTANCE: bath-type glass manufacturing furnace has walls of glass making bath, made of cooled pipe-type members with ribs. Cooled pipe-type members with ribs are made in the form of coil pipe with ribs, that is horizontally located in box of steel sheet, filled with concrete layer of 2.0 - 2.5 pipe diameters thick, separated from wall of box by thermal insulation layer and with pipes of coil pipe spaced by 1.5 - 2.0 diameters of pipe.
