FIELD: cleaning of coke furnaces. SUBSTANCE: method involves mounting coke furnace door into carriage provided with rotating holders mounted on it for forced rotation and equipped with cleaning members formed as disk holes and annular facet extending along edge adjacent to its working surface. Cleaning members are pivotally secured for unrestricted rotation relative to holders. As carriage is reciprocating along vertical side surfaces of doors, disk holes are brought into engagement with roughness of burning-on deposit on these surfaces to remove deposit and clean these surfaces.
