FIELD: production process of light-weight materials. SUBSTANCE: organosilicon fibers are dispersed in water. Introduced into water are sodium organoliconate, phosphoric acid and surfactant. In so doing, sodium organosiliconate-to-phosphoric acid ratio is from 0.57:1 to 11:1, and surfactant is introduced in the amount of 4.0-23.1 mas.p. per 100 mas.p of fiber. Sodium organosiliconate and phosphoric acid are introduced before dispersion, and surfactant is introduced before dispersion or in course of dispersion. Before dispersion or in course of dispersion, polyethylhydridesiloxane may be additionally introduced in amount of 4.6- 28.9 mas.p. per 100 mas.p. of fiber. Material is formed from produced mass and dried. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 2 tbl
