FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: gear racks 2 and 3 mounted in fixed guides 4 and 5 of the housing are arranged in one plane. Gear member 7 and 8 mounted on shaft 6 are constructed as sectors provided with spaces and П - shaped hubs 18 and 19 mounted on shaft 6 symmetrically to ratchet wheel 15. The central angles of the sectors are defined by relationships presented in the invention description. Ratchet wheel 15 is positioned inside space 21 of hub 19. which is positioned in space 20 of hub 18. Spring-loaded dogs are mounted inside the spaces of the gear members and serve for interaction with ratchet wheel 15. When gear racks 2 and 3 move, gear members 7 and 8 rotate in mutually opposite directions by angles of the working stroke of the respective sectors to cause interaction of the dogs with the teeth of the ratchet wheel 15 and, hence, rotation of shaft 6.
