FIELD: agriculture mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: unit for coupling the driving and driven cardan shafts is constructed as a cam coupling. One of the coupling parts is fixedly secured to the driving shaft. The other coupling part is mounted on the driven shaft for permitting movement. A means for control of the coupling unit is made up as a ring member secured to the movable coupling part through a dynamical support, rods which is provided with compression springs and freely pass through the openings of the ring member, and bearing axles rigidly fixed in the ring member and interacting with the flange of the protecting casing. The casing is mounted on the cardan shaft and flange of the casing is mounted for permitting detaching from the housing of the safety unit. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
