FIELD: instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: process of manufacture of breadboard of printed scale for magnetoelectric device includes printing of marks, figures, symbols with 4:1 or 3:1 magnification, tinting, cementing, assembly of breadboard, inspection, photographing with 1:1 magnification, manufacture of negative and cliche. Base of pattern of scale is cut out of non-ferrous metal, base holes are drilled, base is marked off on multipurpose rotary table, is milled on rotary-table milling machine which is followed by tinting with positioning of marks, figures and symbols, by painting. Marks are painted and stamped out of black photographic paper, billets-inserts are made of metal. Rectangles with figures and symbols are made of black photographic paper. Marks are cemented into recessions of base and figures and symbols are pasted on billets-inserts. Breadboard is assembled with installation of billets-inserts into proper recessions.
