FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has a single person hyperbaric chamber having a casing with a cover and a slideway to receive a bed for patient, life support system having an oxygen pipe, and a device for transporting patient in the form of a hand cart with wheels and having a slideway and a bed with a mat for patient. A local hyperbaric chamber with piping accessories to make connection with pulsing oxygen supply main line inside the casing is installed on the bed. Control panel is outside the main hyperbaric chamber and is connected with the main line of oxygen supply feeding the main hyperbaric chamber and with the piping accessories of the local hyperbaric chamber through the air-tight inlets made in its casing. Pipes connecting the local hyperbaric chamber with the pulsing oxygen supply main line run along the bed. The local hyperbaric chamber has wheels in the frontal part placed on the guides mounted on the bed and a lifting handle in the rear part. The local hyperbaric chamber has a member fixing its position on the bed. Mat on the bed is composite, one part being movable in the region where the patient extremities are placed. The fixing member is designed as a support placed in a recess in the rack mounted on the bed. The fixing member position is adjustable for height, for example, by means of a screw gage with a check nut. The device has units for fastening a patient on the bed provided with slots to fix belts in them. Plain bearings and elastic contacts to discharge static electricity from the bed to ground are mounted between the bed and guides. The device may be provided with an additional local hyperbaric chamber for prophylaxis and treatment of both extremities of a patient. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in treating patients and in preventing vascular lesions in lower extremities by means of hyperbaric oxygenation. 3 cl, 5 dwg
