FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has a tunnel shell casing with flanges on both sides bound one with another by tie rods placed outside along the shell. An opening for legs to be inserted into the casing cavity is made in the anterior flange. The casing has nipples for supplying and discharging gas pressure. The shell has egg-shaped oval cross-section built by three conjugated circular arcs of different radii and has constant height and decreasing width when moving from the anterior to posterior flange. The opening for legs to be inserted is in the lower portion of the anterior flange. The posterior flange is narrower than the anterior one. The tie rods on both sides of the casing form an angle with the longitudinal axis running in parallel to the shell generatrix. A mat for placing an extremity has a locking member. Nipples for supplying and discharging gas pressure are located in the vicinity of both end faces of the shell. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in using the whole inner space of the chamber; reduced dimensions; lower gas consumption. 6 cl, 7 dwg
