FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has outer jacket made of high-temperature-resistant material, for instance, silica cloth, able to withstand, without destruction, temperature of standard fire, i.e. 986 ± 49 C. Inner case made of flexible waterproof material, for instance, polyethylene film, is divided into two or three sections insulated from each other. In both design versions ratio of dimensions of sections in length equal to (0.4 - 1.4): 1 is provided. In case of two-section version, one section is filled up with fire-proofing swelling material, and other section, with high thermal conductivity nonburning material. In case of three-section version, extreme sections are filled up with fireproofing swelling material, and middle section, with high thermal conductivity nonburning material. Used as fireproofing swelling material can be vermiculite concentrate or its mixture with dolomite or organosilicon sodium silicate in form of grains or loose powder. Used as nonburning material featuring high thermal conductivity can be various inorganic materials, for instance, vermiculite ore, dolomite, aluminium production wastes (channel dust), etc. Fire resistance limit of cable line ducts with space sealed by fire protection pads is not less than 1.5 h.
