FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electric reactor has coils of main winding, coils of control winding made of turns of conductive material and magnetic system with legs and yokes. Legs of magnetic system are produced in the form of separated armored cores with central legs, windows and side yokes placed orthogonally to axes of coils of main winding. Central legs of cores carry coils of control winding which turns are resistively coupled in series with each other. Cores proper are separated from yokes by nonmagnetic gaps. Each turn of coils of control winding has rectangular horizontal sections with plated ends made on the basis of graphite located in windows of armored cores and vertical sections fabricated from packages of copper belts. Vertical and horizontal sections are resistively coupled with each other in series to form turns of control winding. EFFECT: reduced losses, diminished harmonics in reactor current and usage of active materials, simplified manufacturing process. 3 cl, 3 dwg
