FIELD: analysis of fast-going processes. SUBSTANCE: in electron-optical converter light-transparent backing is made composite of two elements, namely transparent plate with hole located on electron-optical axis and light guide put into this hole and sealed vacuum-tight in it. Inner surface of transparent plate has optical contact with auxiliary section of photocathode. Inner butt side of light guide is in optical contact with working section of photocathode. Light guide has variable in area of hole. EFFECT: improved operational efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
