FIELD: crossing facilities. SUBSTANCE: ferry-bridge machine has engine, chassis, housing and hinged pontoons. Novelty in design of ferry-bridge machine is that extensible floats are installed in bow and stern compartments of ferry-bridge machine. Floats are filled with difficult-to-sink material and are furnished with watertight corrugated shell and extending mechanism. The latter is made in form of hydraulic cylinder whose rod is connected to float, and housing, to thrust beam of compartment of one of pontoons. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 dwg
