FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: light landing party ferry consists of two half-ferries with watertight hulls and pontoons with floor road built in deck, power units, water-jet propulsors and ramp approaches mounted on sides of ferry. Floor road is made over entire width of ferry deck. Each ramp approach is continuous and consists of approach panel with side stops and ramps articulated to panel. Ramp approaches are provided with locking devices for securing adjacent ramps; width of ramp approach is increased relative to width of floor rod at ratio of 0.7-1. Hinged joints of each ramp are mounted on side of floor road and its inner transom performs the function of turn limiter. Locking device of adjacent ramps includes hinged catch and gravitational stop arranged in seat on side wall of ramp and limiter secured in seat on side wall of other adjacent ramp.
