FIELD: transportation of flat items. SUBSTANCE: device has first elongated flexible member whose first end is connected by tension spring which builds up effort, and second elongated flexible member one end of which is connected with bracket. Cam unit which serves to adjust effort is installed for rotation around fixed axle. Cam unit has first and second cams which have arc-shaped surfaces of preset length. Second ends of flexible members are connected to cams. Arc-shaped surfaces of cams are made in form of spiral and are secured on axle with displacement relative ton each other through at least 270 degrees; hands of helix of spirals are opposite to each other. Angle of turning of cam members does not exceed angle of their displacement. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 cl, 8 dwg
