FIELD: bank equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic machines containing bank note storage devices. Said system has shifter 90 made for rotation to grip sheets. Clamping member 138 is installed for movement relative to shifter. Shifter is provided with curvilinearly passing slot 92. According to invention, sheet passing in slot is held by clamping member in fixed connection with shifter. Rotation of shifter towards sheet release position brings sheet in contact with stop surface 160, when clamping member moves to release sheet. Sheet related by clamping member is put in pile 94. Flexible tape surface 160 is brought in contact with each sheet released from shifter to align it in pile 94. In some design versions of invention, shifter is furnished with gripping member which acts selectively to pull sheet out of pile. EFFECT: improved reliability speed of piling and issuing of sheets such as US bank notes and their taking in and issuing from machine. 101 cl, 29 dwg
