FIELD: installation of vertical metallic structures. SUBSTANCE: support of the device to couple vertical butt-joint of a cylindrical reservoir is made in the form of U-shaped frame 1, installed so to be moved on roller 2 along panels 4 and 5 of reservoir wall. The panels are being clamped. Clamping devices of any belt along reservoir height are made in the form of a pair of wedges 6 and 7. Wedge 6 is attached immovable to frame 1. Wedge 7 being connected to one 6 is installed so to be moved in lengthwise direction on one side of the vertical butt-joint, and has a stop in the form of turnable rests 8 located on frame 1 on opposite side about the vertical butt-joint of planes 4 and 5 of reservoir wall. EFFECT: small man-hours of installation process, improved reliability, smallest deformation in butt-joints. 2 dwg
