FIELD: quality control; atomic power engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing a reference sample by cutting out a piece of tubular canal from a natural article having technological duct 2 with bellows 3 placed between them. The lower orifice of technological duct 2 is sealed, the cavity of the technological duct and standard tubular canal is filled with heat carrier. An area of standard tubular canal and of natural article are exposed to tapping. The technological duct of the article which is not sealed is detected by evaluating sound height and its damping time. 50-150 ml of heat carrier are poured into the standard tubular canal cavity. Tapping test is carried out 80-300 mm higher relative to the level of undetachable connection of the bellows and the tubular canal at least 12 h later after molding the processing canals. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in performing nondestructive control of technological canals in nuclear power plants. 4 cl, 2 dwg
