FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fittings having locking parts. During process of fitting switching on value of force It in magnet at moment when movement of locking part starts is registered as strength of starting current IA. From this registered strength IA of starting current force acting on locking part through magnet at moment when movement starts is determined as starting force KA by means of calibration function KF. This force KA is compared with rated value and in case of its deviation signal is generated. Calibration function is determined in fitting of similar type where locking part is anchored. Device for testing fittings includes ammeter placed in electric circuit of magnet which is connected to computer coupled to storage of calibration function. Unit comparing present value with rated one, for instance signal pickup, is placed after computer. EFFECT: simplified design, improved authenticity of method. 14 cl, 3 dwg
