METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CHECK OF MEDIUM-ACTUATED FITTINGS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: check of medium-actuated fittings. SUBSTANCE: in course of change-over of fitting 1, time responses of measuring value which is essential to actuating system and for fitting are measured. First measuring value is pressure (P₁, P₂) in body of piston 8 of fitting 1 and second measuring value is stroke (H) of fitting 1. Coefficient of stroke of fitting 1 is found from responses and is stored as basic value. During later process of change-over of fitting 1, value specific for functioning is again determined and its deviation from stored basic value is checked. For measuring the time responses, use is made of sensitive elements of measuring sensors. Value specific for functioning is determined in estimation unit 20. On other side, provision is made for determination of course of tendency of deviation of value specific for functioning from basic value; to this end, tendency tracking unit 26 is used.
