FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: insulation material of inner layer of body insulation is reeled on metal mandrel, layers of ribbon copper and of electric insulation material of interturn insulation are reeled in turn on it. Then electric insulation material of outer layer of body insulation is wound and metal serving is put with clearance between surfaces of serving and outer layer of body insulation. Spacers are inserted into clearance and later coil is impregnated with modified epoxy compound which vitrification temperature in hardened state equals specified temperature of serving under operational condition of coil. Hardening is carried out at temperature equal to specified vitrification temperature. After it butts of coils are machined by cutting and chemical etching. Mandrel and serving used in process are produced from metal having coefficient of thermal expansion equal to or differing by 5-10% from coefficient of thermal expansion of copper.
