FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production and repair of lifting and transporting equipment, namely lifting electromagnets intended for operation with ferromagnetic loads. Coil of the hoisting electromagnet is wound with a wire insulated during spiral winding of glass cloth insulation, which is pre-impregnated under vacuum with an epoxy compound of hot curing, onto a mandrel with superimposed on it shell from sheet glass-textolite. Coil is insulated along the external cylindrical surface with glass cloth tape to form collars protruding above the end surfaces of the coil. Hot curing compound with a filler is applied on the upper end surface. In the presence of irregularities of the compound layer, a compound with a curing agent is additionally applied and the surface is leveled with a spatula. Chamber is closed, air is pumped to pressure of 0.2 atm. Coil is heated to 180 °C due passage of electric current there through, temperature control is performed by increasing active resistance of coil at its heating. After hardening process is completed, current is cut off, vacuum chamber is unsealed and coil is cooled. Then, the coil is removed from the chamber, turned by the other side, installed in the chamber horizontally and the other end surface is insulated by applying epoxy compound with filler onto it, coil heating, quality control of end surface, correction thereof, if necessary, and subsequent hardening in the same modes as described above.
EFFECT: higher quality of coil insulation.
