SUBSTANCE: dressing unit has case 1 with hole whose extreme threaded portions are of diameter exceeding that of middle portion; it also has inserts in the form of bushes 2 and 3, clamping members in the form of nuts 4 and 5. Wires 7 of external armour lay clamped between external conical surface of bush 2 and internal conical surface of nut 4. Wires 8 of internal armour layer are clamped in gap between external end conical surfaces of bush 3 and internal conical surfaces of hole in case 1 and nut 5.
