FIELD: marine engineering; deep-water containers and hulls of submersible vehicles. SUBSTANCE: watertight deep-water container includes metal housing and cover made from non-metallic material with soft metal gasket laid between them and seal. Ends of parts being connected together are thickened; thickened portion of housing is provided with circular groove where seal is located. Outer diameter of gasket is equal to inner diameter of circular groove. Housing and cover are locked by means of union nut engageable with thread on thickened portion of housing. Bush is provided with through radial hole. Taper clearance between bush and cover is used for receiving the shock-absorbing gasket. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
