FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: piston 5 of valve 1 is received in servo cylinder 6 to define under-piston space 7 and above-piston space 8. Depending on the kind of stroke of engine operation, each space can be connected through washer 10 of the slide valve unit either with passage 16 of the system for supplying compressed air or space 2 of the engine cylinder. Pressure of compressed air in passage 16 is controlled by reduction valve 17 through control unit 18. When space 7 is connected with space 2 of the engine cylinder, the chamber is blown to remove the residual gases. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 5 cl, 3 dwg
