FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: bed for testing collectors has fast-removable mandrel 10 on to which tested collectors 11 are put in advance and are installed in bed assembled completely. Gas-static thrust bearing 9 manufactured in the form of shield 8 ensures continuous cooling of stator 4 of electric motor with compressed waste air which creates optimum heat mode and increases reliability of operation of asynchronous electric motor. Vertical restoring rods 2 which ends are embedded rigidly in case 3 and frame 1 by means of dampers 16 makes it possible to get rid of second row of restoring members which simplifies design of bed as case 3 and shaft 7 execute plane-parallel motion owing to great angular rigidity of system of rods.
