FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device is intended for centrifugal engineering processes that cause notable dynamic disbalance of the rotor and comprises a housing, a drive with its output shaft connected via a flexible joint, for example, a cardan shaft connected to the main shaft, and a magnetic bearing of the main shaft. The said magnetic bearing comprises a ferromagnetic rotor fitted on the main shaft at distance R from the said flexible joint and representing a round part of spherical enclosure with mean radius R. The said enclosure inner and outer surfaces feature a number of concentric ledges and incorporates upper and lower ferromagnetic stators with concave and convex spherical working surfaces facing the rotor. Note that the said surfaces have circular permanent magnets arranged opposite the rotor ledges. The stators arranged inside in the housing to run therein in rolling bearings are provided with shock absorbers.
EFFECT: simpler device, higher reliability, power savings.
