FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: inverter has bridge with capacitor and complex load inserted between diagonally opposite pair of a.c. terminals, thyristors inserted in two arms, and first and second saturable reactors, in two other arms of bridge. Connected in series with each saturable reactor is current transformer whose secondary winding is connected with respective input of thyristor control unit. Control system affords consistency between degree of polarity reversal by reverse current and thyristor turn-on moment. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
