FIELD: rest accessories. SUBSTANCE: known construction of hammock has user supporting surface and fastening members for fastening supporting surface to external supports, which are made in the form of a pair of planks with tension members. Improved construction has device for transmitting motion to supporting surface and hammock swinging mechanism with actuating member and control unit, which are mounted on support. Support is fixed on one vertical pole. One plank is engageable with swinging mechanism through device for transmitting motion to supporting surface. In preferred embodiment swinging mechanism has drive electric engine and magnetic reciprocating mechanism.
