FIELD: connection of metallic and non-metallic parts. SUBSTANCE: refractory unit consists of refractory part, load-bearing part and compensator arranged in between them. Compensator is made of profiled metal sheet whose tops get in contact with refractory part and grooves get in contact with load-bearing part; lines passing over compensator from top to groove are curvilinear. Profiled surface of compensator may have slots. Sides of slots on the slopes of convexities and concavities are located along the slope. Surfaces of compensator adjoining different sides of slot are shifted relative to each other. Compensator may be soldered to both parts or to one part; when compensator is soldered to one part, joint is provided for connecting it with other part to which it is pressed by means of detachable attachment fastening the unit. Joint may be provided with heat-removing layer for detachable unit and compensator. Heat-removing layer contains material which is plastic or liquid during operation of unit. Unit is fastened by means of detachable attachment. EFFECT: enhanced strength of joint of refractory part with load-bearing part, enhanced removal of heat from refractory part, reduced thermal resistance of joint making the joint detachable or permanent (depending on technical requirements). 17 cl, 7 dwg
