FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a heater comprising a ceramic heating element and at least two ribs for heat removal from the ceramic heating element, wherein the ceramic heating element extends along the plane in one dimension, and at least two ribs extend away from said plane, wherein at least two ribs are connected to the ceramic heating element by discrete connecting sections. Invention also relates to a method of making said heater, comprising the following steps: (a) applying solder on surface of ceramic heating element; (b) placing the metal fin over the solder to create a heater model; (c) soldering the heater model in the furnace at temperature of 750 to 900 °C to melt the solder and cause interaction of the solder and the ceramic heating element.
EFFECT: higher reliability of heater in operation.
