FIELD: production of starch. SUBSTANCE: device has filtering grid, scraper, guide for starch-containing raw material and hollow shaft. Case is made in form of scroll with removable cap. Grinding contrivance is made in form of a set of disk metal brushes or needle-cutters which are attached to hollow shaft for horizontal motion inside the drum. Hollow shaft has radial holes for water supply which holes are disposed at places of contact of the shaft with the grinding contrivance. The drum is made with holes for passing starch milk through; the holes are closed by filtering grid. Scraper and guide for starch raw material are fixed to internal surface of removable cap and disposed inside the drum. Scraper is placed for regulation of space between its cutting edge and filtering grid. EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation. 3 dwg
