FIELD: electric engineering; building construction. SUBSTANCE: hydroelectric power station building is positioned in the river bed along the stream direction in narrow gorges of mountain rivers. The building has engine room 4, hydraulic turbine-driven generator units 5 with spiral cases 6 and draught tubes 7, feeding and discharging water lines 8 and 9, respectively, spillway 11. The hydroelectric power station building is build in thrusting both of the gorge slopes making the river bank. Spiral case and draught tube of each next in the series of hydraulic turbine-driven generators are connected with one of two feeding or discharging water lines aligned in parallel to the longitudinal axis of the station. The last water lines are constructed in the form of a tunnel in the bank slopes of the gorge. EFFECT: suitable arrangement of the station in mountain rivers; lower construction costs. 2 dwg
