FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: device has casing and rod inserted into casing for axial displacement within it. Casing together with rod is mounted within cavity defined by tension spring coils. Catches of tension spring are disposed in longitudinal gaps on free ends-shanks of casing and rod. One of shanks is pivotally secured on door and other shank is pivotally secured on door opening. Casing is provided with hydraulic damper, which facilitates smooth shifting of rod in the process of door locking. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 3 dwg
