FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method for quarrying of block stones includes filling of blast holes with nonexplosive breaking substance and leaving free space in hole mouth at height equalling 0.10-0.15 m, and locking device is placed into free space and made in form of two spatial bodies each of which is made in form of part of round cylinder whose one base is formed by plane located at angle of 7-9 deg. to longitudinal axis. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
