FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: solid body to be broken is drilled to make hole and nonexplosive breaking substance is placed into hole. Nonexplosive breaking substance expands in volume by hydration. Nonexplosive breaking substance is heated to accelerate hydration reaction. Nonbreaking substance is heated beginning from layer adjacent to hole mouth by means of heat liberated by additionally introduced layer of exothermal substance which is placed into hole mouth and filled with water. Layer of exothermal substance may be encased in shell of filtering material. Exothermal substance includes, mas. quick-slating lime 90-99; regulating additives - spent sulfite-alcohol liquor 1-2; quartz sand 5-10. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 cl, 2 dwg
